Crimson in color, medium legs, no sediment. Berry and plum nose, softening after 10-15 minutes. Sweet dark berry - blue or boysenberry, and then that taste... what is it?!? Cardamon or ??? Then I had to read another review to place it, then duh... vanilla. The most vanilla-y wine I've ever tasted. Good in a strange way. Somehow complimented the sautéed leeks and mushrooms. I think I'll get some more just to have something strange to serve strange friends.

Nose: plum, cherries, vanilla, and herbs. Flavor: boysenberry was most prominent, followed by blackberry. A little lavender and white pepper sneaks in towards the finish. Lush mouthfeel. Tasty wine.

Warm climate cab with a big zin kick makes this a ballsy mouthful of dark fruit, clove and tobacco. Drink the second glass at your own risk.

Good fruit and spice in the bouquet and taste; beautiful color; but lacks depth.
