  • This was such a treat because it encapsulated a lot the flavors and aromas I love in classic Bordeaux blends.

The wine starts off with ripe, jammy fruits and somewhat coarse tannins, but with time, it coalesces into a beautifully structured wine. Cedar, concentrated blackberry, sweet 100 tomato, aged balsamic, port nuances, herb, and cinnamon spice dance on my tongue, electrified by racy acidity, all culminating with a refreshing tannic grip and a finish that lasts 30 secs+. As good of a wine as I've had in a year. I was afraid it would close up, but quite the opposite happened. It continued to evolve and improve in the glass. No hurry to finish off the remaining bottles, but it's so good now.
