Not as good as the bottle I had a few years ago but still an excellent bottle of wine. The nose was all fruit. The palate was dark berries, dark cherry, currents, a slight hint of coffee and then a faint hint of clove which came out on the long finish. Served with steaks made in my grill pan on a very rainy NJ night.

Great nose of fall crushed berries of blackberries , currents, raspberries , ripe plums, wild h blueberries. Palate of same fruit with herbs and minerals of a dusty soil similar to Rutherford. But unique in its own rite- mid palate is strong that gives a peppery nuance of Cabernet Franc but the power of Cabernet Sauvignon makes the long, pleasant finish that lasts over 45 seconds.

60 minute bottle decant followed by 30 in the decanter. This was quite enjoyable with the boldness you expect from the blend with a decent amount of secondary flavors. Glad I have a few more of these to drink.

Decanted for 1 hr before dinner. Really great after 2 hrs. Some sediment. Nose: very good 9/10. Stone, some iron, violets. Palate: 9/10. Medium to full body. Polished, well balanced. Licorice. Graphite. Finish: 9/10. Price: 7/10 ($235) Expensive for what I get. Enjoyment: 9/10. Would buy again: No. I'd try something else at that price.

A solid Cab from a trusted producer. Peter Michael's Cabs are always very stable, powerful and well balanced. This one is no exception.
