  Yellow. Not Champagne yellow, but a real medium yellow. Almost tasted like a still wine at first sip, but then a steady stream of the tiniest bubbles I have seen. Maybe 0.1mm which is 100µ! Brioche. Full body.

  Gosset 15 Ans de Cave a Minima Brut NV
  複雑味もスケール感も十分。素晴らしいシャンパーニュ。
  クリスタル 2002 以上かもしれない。
  Plenty of complexity and scale. A great Champagne.
  Maybe even better than the Crystal 2002.

  Caramel color. Tiny bubbles. Very rich. Brioche. Apple. Lemon zest. Lots of depth.

  So here we are again after 2 years with another bottle.
  
  Now from a proper wider glass and more patience.
  
  Its now a totally different champagne than 2 years ago even though I admit my experience and tasting preferences have slightly changed after around 250 champagnes since then.
  
  The bouquet is very impressive and broad, some creamy ripe apple and a bit leftover autolytics. There is also some mild sherry note creeping into the bouquet as well.
  
  While I was not too fond of this champagne 2 years ago because it seemed a bit too austere at that time. I can say its now one of the most juicy and easily quaffable bottles I have in my cellar. (Slightly similar juiciness like Mouzon Leroux Blanche Voie - Verzy).
  On the first day I was even close to saying that the dosage is a tiny bit too high.
  For a very short time there is also a hint of mild bitterness on the finish but it disappeared as easily as it came.
  
  What surprised me a lot was that the acidity is quite mild now. Absolutely nothing compared to two years ago.
  
  On the second day there is not a big change in character of the champagne but it definitely integrated a little bit better.
  As a slightly worried sidenote the madeira character is a bit more prominent now and sometimes a bit of spiciness.
  Otherwise the length and density of this champagne is pretty impressive.
  The bitter and slighty sweet dosage feeling is completely gone now. It drinks fabulous with pure dense apple character. It is actually rather similar to the Anniversary 425 Cuvee but in a much more dense and rich version.
  
  The acidity nonetheless is still quite moderate.
  
  Afterthoughts:
  
  Nice champagne but I fail to see Tyson Stelzers 98 points here.
  A similarly old Gosset Celebris Extra Brut BdB in my opinion kept a better freshness and a more impressive profile overall (but got only awarded 97 points while drawing reserves from the same years as I remember 97/98/99).
  
  I still have too many bottles of this in my cellar and now I am starting to worry if this madeira note is due to bottle variation or if the wine started to leave its trajectory after a mere 2 more years of cellaring.
  
  The cork is super long and clearly built to last for a long time.
  
  If anyone has some bottles left... I recommend to check on them at least annually by now.
