A magnificent wine, almost ethereal on the nose. Bold and intense without heaviness. Tannins are not pronounced but the finish just sails on and on. The CT drinking window notwithstanding, this has years to go.

Outstanding, incredibly youthful at 15 years of age. Bold and hedonistic - surely nothing for "cellar purists" given the oak, but in its own style a marvellous representation of Catena's Malbec. This would have so many years to go, but unfortunately was my last bottle...

Russk Parker's Matter of Taste at the Moore Bldg. Zapata seminar, my 1st fav. French oak, silky gritted, nice nose, some iodine, still firm, savory quality . No jam.

Amazingly concentrated with deep dark fruit. This wine continues to age nicely with a bit more complexity than two years ago.
