Plum, blackberry, tobacco, and dirt. Mainly black fruit. Well-blanced, soft texture with rich expression of fruit. Enjoyable but seems like too common, indistinguishable, standard bordeaux for now. Maybe more years will make some distinction for this bottle as it proves potential for aging. Great qpr overall.

when I first opened this it was unpleasant. thin and sour cherry taste. I decanted it for an hour with some improvement and then recorked. Tried again 48 hours later and it had improved greatly. classic bordeaux balance, reemergence of fruit and greater concentration. I'm wondering if it just needs longer and maybe jumped the gun.

Slow oxed for several hours then poured a glass with dinner. From start to finish the bottle was just a bit off. Lacked a bit of fruit, a bit astringent , and just a bit out of balance. NR

Decanted 2 hours. Very dry and lacking fruit except some sour cherry near the end of the bottle. Nothing on the nose. Hot. Green stems. Tannins did not dissipate at all with decanting. Dead bottle? I realize this is young, but I don’t expect a lot of improvement unless this is an off bottle.

Very good. Nice fruit and still plenty of tannins. Could be great in 5+ years if secondary characteristics develop as they seem they should.
