This wine is a Californian trying to be an Oregonian, lol. They have abandoned the butter butter butter and found a touch more acids, so good for them, but sadly it lacks any depth of flavors, but still, keep trying! Not a bad deal at the price (it was a Garagiste "mystery wine" offering under $15). This bottling had a clean finish but not particularly memorable.
At this general price point ($13-$19 to consumer) I think carefully chosen minor white Burgundies are still a better buy.

Nose and flavor are quite different. Nose puts off some real oak. Acidity in the mouth provides crispness more like a white Burgundy...

pleasingly floral on entry, but finishes with an overwhelming and off-putting blast of butterscotch. not recommended.
