Opened at room temperature. Struck match and petrichor sorts of pungency, with cool guava and citrus fruits and a floral note along the lines of orange blossom. Lightly herbaceous. Touch of oak, but subtle and well integrated. Similar flavors. Dry. Round, fleshy texture lifted by good acidity. Good concentration, but elegant, cohesive and mellow; otherwise not showing its age. Some varietal character, but might not be pegged for an NZ SB (high praise for any NZ SB). Some limestone minerality develops toward the finish. Nice wine.

This might be the best NZ Savvy I've ever had? No surprise really; I don't like the typical Marlborough style but this is miles away. Broad complex palate, wonderful zingy lines of acid hold everything together noting the older honeyed caramel fruit will only get stronger over the next 12 months. Drinking best now for mine. Smart, complex, different, interesting!

Very good. From the PnP through the final sip, this was most excellent. Med/Med+ body, with none of the typical NZ SB attributes of over-cropped, green, and at times bitter fruit. Instead this was full of guava, mango, pear, and plenty of minerals and fresh acidity to round it all out. Definitely in its preferred zone, this offers a long finish and enough structure to continue at this level for a few more years, no problem. The wife loved it, so I'll be looking for some more. highly recommended

PnP that was a fresh, mouthful of a wine on nights one and two. Medium-bodied, with good citric zest, bold white, yellow and some green fruit notes. I can appreciate this style in a Sauvignon Blanc even if it's just a few times each year. Nice partner to grouper and well-seasoned sides. Now and the next few years. recommended
