More red fruited and almost more Bordeaux-like than your typical Napa cab. Maybe a 2011 thing. Still plenty of fruit and very enjoyable. Worked very well with beef filet. Both while cooking and definitely while eating. About an hour of air or a bit more is what was needed.

Howell Mountain Spring Wine Trade Tasting. Nose of HM fruit, medium body, medium/long finish, nice and pleasant I wrote. Retail $125-pass.
