PnP. Quite deep and rich fruit - cherry, raspberry, a slightly blue edge - a rhubarb note and a loamy soil element. Definitely feels like Russian River Valley rather than coastal. Enjoyable ***1/2

Bright red fruits, slight herb, cola, and floral nose. Palate has nice earthiness, muted cherry and other red fruit, and a good acidic balance. Medium finish with a nice tannic structure. Very good balance on this wine.

As part of a neighborhood tasting with 5 Pinots (Beaux Freres, Ceritas, Failla, Hirsch, and Shea), this wine finished first (barely). Perhaps a year or two ahead of its peak, this wine delighted with aromatic fruit and a beautiful balance of fruit and acidity on the tongue. The only complaint the group had about this wine was its slightly short finish. Still, this is an excellent wine, and our only regret is that we only have two remaining in the cellar.

Long legs, crimson. Excellent balance between fruit, earth, and acidity. Velvet to dry tannins. Perfect with figs, soft cheese, and prosciutto. Alcohol on the nose with berries, mushroom, herbs. Tame fruit on the palate with mushrooms, figs, and just a hint of thyme. Will wait another 9 months to 1 year before I open another. Should need more time.
