In a good drinking window. Still the same - very fruit forward and has me wondering about residual sugar. My dining companions loved it - smooth and round. Not my style, but a decent wine.

I wasn’t expecting much from this one, based on the notes here in CellarTracker. This one was a coat your mouth wine in a very enjoyable fashion, right from the start. A hint of boysenberry mixed with some wonderful black fruit made this a delight. Lingering aftertaste. My last bottle. I wish I had more. I think it is at its peak and should be there a few more short years.

A beautiful wine in the glass. Rhubarb, Zin funk, coffee, black pepper, herbs, and a touch of mocha all make their presence known in the seamless transfer from nose to palate. A fulsome mouthfeel, but with sufficient acidity to rein everything into balance. How I do love this cuvée of Zin from Ridge. A blend of 83% Zin, 16% Alicante Boushet, and 1% Petite Sirah and no Mouvedre (!). A line of sediment from the neck down the back to the base and a ring around the neck. 14.8% alc. With grilled (beef) burgers – a classic pairing. 05.29.23. Recommended.

Beautiful wine still in its drinking window. Blueberry, oak, raspberry and pepper. Elegant.

My last, and happy to sacrifice it to roasted spiced pork ribs. Grapes must have been very ripe for 14.8 abs and still so much RS.
