Classic Mugnier with bright red berry fruits, some hints of damp earth and a touch of herbal tea; floral and fresh with orange peel and a lovely light feel.

Dried strawberry, earth, ultra light raspberry jam, and a touch of dark fruit on the nose. Pleasantly light and encouragingly spicy in the mouth, with a long light tingly finish. Better after decanting for a few hours, and held in the fridge overnight just fine.
At Le Baratin. Drank somewhat quickly so it didn’t have the chance to evolve much, but it was excellent. Small red berries, cherry, and warming spice. Tannins smoothing out. Seems to be entering a good window.

First time tasted the ‘14 vintage . At a dinner in Hong Kong - not from my cellar so don’t know how the bottle had been kept . It had been decanted for a few hours , good colour and it was just dull - on the nose and tasting . I’ll try one of my own bottles soon to compare but perhaps , hopefully , just in a closed phase .

2nd bottle tasting with similar note but different score.
Medium ruby in colour. Pronounced nose intensity with notes of red currant, red cherry, strawberry, spices, mushroom, toast, flora, blossom. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Long finish and medium+ bodied.
