  A solid wine presenting luxardo and dried black cherries, bit of plum, cocoa and molasses notes. Spice box, cigar and a beam of intense acidity. This is dense and opens nicely over an hour or so. Drink now, this is into its fade.

  Elegant soft and red fruited Merlot with good streak of mineral and cocoa. I would like to have seen a more complex wine here, but the bright fruit expression was beautifully 78 in profile.
  
  Blend of Stags Leap and Oakville vineyards that have become well known for quality of fruit and terroir. Interesting to see this from early days of each of these sites in Napa.
