Session at NVNA. Aired in bottle for 30 mins. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour with thin garnet rim. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of earth, mushrooms, dark herbs, red plums, rich red cherries. Developed. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.2%), medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of savoury earth, mushrooms, dark herbs, sweet red plums, sweet red cherries, cooling menthol spice. Long finish. Very good quality. Ripe sweet fruits but with a earthy nod to Burgundy. Coolness of the terroir shows. Nicely evolved and will be good to drink up over the next 3 years.

Muted nose as noted by others but three hours the fruit nose emerged. Dark fruit. Maybe a clove like spice on the nose. Very nice. While it doesn’t have ages in it I would suggest it will be tasty for quite a few years.

Fairly muted nose. Very smooth palate, black cherry and a little spice on the finish. Medium length. I enjoyed this wine much more in the first hour after decanting. After that it became a little more austere. I suspect these need drinking sooner rather than later.

Balanced on the nose with dark fruit on initial taste Later dark fruit turns to tannins and herbs. Still good but drink now.
