Saturday hangout at Domaine (Chicago, IL): A bit of a rarity if CT is to be believed; I'd never seen this bottling before. But the juice was good. Like the PMR, this has a nice fullness to the palate that I don't always find in Ceritas; there's more fruit and power in these two bottles. The amount of acidity keeps this fresh, but there's also good depth and complexity here. Very nice.

My previous 2017 note indicated a more immediacy to drinking these. That wasn’t the case for me. This is drinking just as it has before with slight acid, bit of citrus, butterscotch, almost some petrol (in a good way). This has resolved beautifully with a nose of Chablis. No decant needed. I’m guessing this will keep mellowing without dropping off for a number of years. It’s is a great place so I wouldn’t wait though. I’ll hold my mangum for many years.

Drinking beautifully. Mature, on the lighter side (and has loads of acid) but with good density and length.

Drinking great, still. Classic Ceritas subtlety and complexity. This was really a lovely light chard.

This started at 93 pts. or so, but went downhill within an hour or so. Ended at about 90, so I would drink any remaining bottles sooner than later.
