Very much a cocktail wine. Loads of blueberry and new oak, which leans sawdusty on the nose. On the palate, good acidity, tries to bend the palate away from the monolithic oak and blueberry notes, but then wood shavings and coarse tannin intercede and drive to the grainy finish. Overdone and loads of bluster, and ends cherry liqueur, but not a bad fireside wine.

A massive wine for those who like the blockbuster style. 30 months of 100% new oak.
Blueberry jam, vanilla, cinnamon. Voluptuous texture, with medium acidity, low tannins.
