Dry River Pinot Noir Vertical Tasting and a few others (Le Petit Sommelier): The nose is much more evolved than the rest, dried fruit, herbs, earthy, sultana raisins, show signs of oxidation and Brett funk, chocolate and coffee and even chocolate with liquer in it. In the palate, the wine is drying as well, a bit more aggressive, raisin-y, tannic, alcohol more upfront (15.2%), med finish. Outstanding quality, drink now

15.2% alcohol. Like the Heart's Desire, very ripe in the nose. This had a slight minty, forest-like edge to the profile. Black fruit in the nose and mouth. Very spicy palate. Slightly more acidity than the Heart's Desire and no heat on the finish. B+
