  Dark purple body with gemstone ruby highlight on the edges. Pomegranate and a hint of cranberry on the front. Mid palate stays with the pomegranate and a hint of cherry. Lighter body with low to moderate acidity. Mild tannins. Balance is okay but there is a very faint off flavor in the back of the palate as the wine finishes. May just be a sharper finish on the alcohol. Overall finish is short and simple.
