  • Just brief impressions as I brought this to a party and didn't really get to focus on this. Stood up for 1 week then decanted off sediment for 1h. Back into bottle and brought to party. Balanced flavors of plums, cherries, kirsch, some garrigue, and brambles. Nothing overblown or too ripe. Good structure. If all southern Rhone wines were like this, I would be a much bigger fan. Nice for a second wine that seems to do well with mid-term aging. Need to get more for sure.

  • Excellent balance with great fruits improved significantly after 2 hours decanted. Drink now or save at least 2-5 years

  • Garnet colour, light bricking, small amount of sediment. Medium+ body, medium tannin. Stewed red fruit. Fresh and young tasting. Would drink well in 3-5 years.

  • Decanted off sediment, opened for a couple hours in a carafe.

Pure strawberry on the nose, maybe some fruit leather, has some freshness too. Palate is medium body, supple strawberry and raspberry jam, lifted acid, slightly chalky/rocky, well resolved tannins. Finish has a slight espresso, pie crust kind of note, but returns to the same acid that makes the fruit very bright.

I wouldn't have thought this has been aged for 9-10 years. Feels quite young and still relatively primary, without a whole lot of evidence that there's underlying complexity. That being said, I do think this will last another 5-10 years or so. For my palate, it's good but not great. There is clearly quality here, though admittedly it's not my preference.

Drink now now with some air or hold for another 5-7 years.

  • Stood up for several days and decanted off from a fair amount of sediment. Note is 5h after decant. Aromas of ripe cherries and plums, garrigue, herbs and a hint of kirsch. Palate had ripe cherries and plums, herbs, garrigue, some kirsch, bark and a bit of earth. Nice acids give the wine lift. Med-full body with moderate tannins on midpalate. Nice, moderately long finish. Nicely balanced with good weight. Ripe but not over-ripe fruit that's balanced by the acids and bass tones. Really nice. I suspect that this can easily go for another decade but prob won't be able to wait that long.
