Retail $50. Under screwcap. I was astonished to see that this was the last bottle of Siduri that I had in my cellar. For as long as I have had a "cellar" Siduri has figured prominently. No longer. The end of an era and all that. Adam Lee, the founder of Siduri, sold the brand before this wine was made and while I admire the Jackson Family (the purchaser of Siduri), it seems as though a bit of the magic was lost in the transaction. Don't get me wrong, this is still fantastic, but...
Retail $50. Under screwcap. It had been a day. Even though the JV Basketball team that I coach won, we did everything in our power to lose. Thankfully, the opponent sucked a lot worse than we did, so we ended up with a 9-point win. By the time I got home, I figured I needed a fine bottle to watch the first episode of the second season of White Lotus, and this turned out to be the sacrificial lamb. Similar notes. 92 Points.
Retail $50. Under screw. Fairly dark in the glass, even eight years out. Dark berry fruit, a bit of spice, a tad of heat on the nose. The palate is a lesson in balance: fruit, acidity, earth, lovely. I have been a fan of Siduri for as long as I can remember and if this is what the "new" Siduri shall be under Jackson Family tutelage, then I welcome it with open arms. thedrunkencyclist.com

Tasted at their Santa Rosa "winery"... Somewhat delicate, but super flavorful with a gorgeous nose. This is their inaugural vintage for this wine. Bought a couple of bottles to take home.
