PnP w/30 min in glass. Clear, med purple color. Initially rather closed, tight and thin. Figured the vintage was to blame but after a hour, the wine blossomed into a very nice med body, well rounded, blue and red fruit winner. Dry/astringent, notes of cola, earth, with a long finish and classic KB finish. Not the over extracted juice of yesteryear. Nothing off. $91.

We drank this over two evenings. The first pour was right out of the bottle with no decant, the second after having been sealed with a Vacuvin stopper. The first taste was nice, but unimpressive. The second was outstanding. The nose was full and smelled of red fruits like raspberries and strawberries. It tasted of these fruits with a bit of oaky spice in the background. The proportions changed around a bit as part of the complexity this beauty exhibited. The mouthfeel and the aftertaste were exemplary. I will decant the next bottle. There is clearly a lot of life in this one and the 2020 drinking deadline someone suggests is reasonable.

Pretty much pop and poured and enjoyed over the following 2 hours. The KB '11s are in a great spot right now.
I concur with Josh Raynold's assessment on this one...my experience showed potpourri, mineral, dark berries and vanilla that followed through on the flavorful full palate. A really good pinot that is drinking great right now.
