Light golden in color. Nose of lemon, honeysuckle, honey and almond. It really swirls across the tongue with honeydew, pineapple, peach, meyer lemon and honeyed stone fruits. It has a nice bright texture and excellent acidity. Really enjoyable, but only hinting at the level of sweetness found in many Spatlese reislings.

In good shape, drinking a little drier than other vintages but paired nicely with cheese.

More of what you would expect in a Spatlese level of sweetness. Very nice, but I'd be hard pressed to call it a dessert wine.
