Very interesting wine. Unusual twangy taste and texture. Different is good, in my book. I won't attempt to come up with the various flavors, but I will say it was not like a chard, not like a SvBl, and not like a Riesling. Fun stuff, I'd buy it again.

Giant Wine Sale & Tasting Cellar on Greene, Columbia, SC 5/3/2014 (Cellar on Greene, Columbia, SC): This is really good stuff. The nose has a super pure and precise hit of jasmine with a bunch of garden herbs. It has almost the body and weight of a Riesling. The entry into the palate at first is honey, then orchard fruit with a touch of citrus. Big Granny Smith apple acidity. The finish actually gives a small taste of cider with a bit of cinnamon.

Appearance: clear, pale yellow. Nose: Clean, moderately expressive and developing exotice fruit and flowers. Palate: Slightly dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol, medium-bodied, medium+ intensity (when not over chilled) gooseberry, tropical fruit, orchard fruit, floral. Youthful & friendly. Moderate finish length. Very good quality. Drink soon

I thought this was quite good....nice fruitiness. Also noticed a bit of spritz, which I do not believe is wanted. Also tartrates lining the bottom of our glass.....needed longer cold stabilization.

Nice. Floral nose and a bit chewy on the palate. A bit of waxy honey to finish. Kind of square. Still good.
