Big Winter Reds: Drank single blind, there was some clear Australian eucalyptus on this. I felt the wine was somewhat green and also fading. Regardless it was still my #1 wine of the night.

Single vineyard Shiraz wines. Steep south facing so quite cold, mint and peppery style, on limestone, 56 million years old which gives you structure but its suppressed because of the cold. And then gray loam which always gives you earthiness in the wines. A deep compression to the wine.
