Tasty, remaining tannins just right, not too "hot" for a 15.3% wine. Light spice, some leather, easy cherries. Ready today or yesterday. Been sitting im my "netherworld" section for a few years. Dug it out for a spicy chipotlle and bell pepper pork tenderloin (Patricia Wells). Perfect complement. AND it went well with the Trader Joes's dark chocolate bar I had for dessert. Too bad it was the only one left in the cellar.

Aroma of plum, black cherry and barbecue sauce. Ok, maybe the BBQ sauce came from the smoked baby ribs this wine was opened to accompany. Rich sappy black fruit with plenty of sweetness, this was still very nice for its lush, sweet style. My last bottle, I still wouldn't have been concerned holding this for a BBQ next summer.

(De Lisio Quarterback) Good blueberry nose; nice blueberry and mulberry flavors on solid palate, a bit tight yet but delicious; medium finish (a blend of equal parts Shiraz, Cabernet, Merlot and Grenache)

This wine is at its apex currently. Tannins have mellowed, old fruit showing. Great balance!
