Nice, almost a 'mini' Grand Marnier in that the orange taste was very similar, interesting but not something I would have often - Orange amber, very concentrated with a nose of orange, burnt caramel, butterscotch and vanilla, intense, a touch of heat, but mostly in balance, sticky, smooth, warm and sweet on the palate with good length (87 Points).

Don't know how long this has been aged but it must have sat in the supermarket for a long time in the summer heat as the price reduced from around HK$150 to just HK$60, so I grabbed it the moment I saw it. Dark colour, honey and floral smell, viscous but slightly less than a big sauterne. Taste different too. Massive honey, caramel and flower on the palate but didn't sense much fruit. A bit more acidity would be nice. A slight bitter or marmalade aftertaste, medium finish, not bad. It's different, and I'm happy because of the big discount. Otherwise I would've gone for a cheap Barsac or Jurancon instead.

Ahhh Muscat, you grape-like grapes. Red grape juice, fig and caramel dominate on the nose with touches of peach there too. On the palate it is very very sweet, absolutely tons of grape juice but not all that interesting, and nowhere NEAR enough acid to balance the intense sweetness of this. I had a 125ml glass and didn't want to drink more than 50ml of it, it was too cloyingly sweet. I had high hopes for Torres, who usually produce wonderful wines at ridiculously low prices, but this was not to be.

Bel couleur ambré, doux
Miel et pêches avec un léger fond d'ananas
Petite acidité qui est très agréable, belle finale
