  • Delicious - drank after a 1999 Dunn Howell Mountain Cab. This was surpsingly delicious. Fruit, tannin and spice all in balance. I found this well into the yummy factor. I look forward to more of it from the cellar.

  • This new release of Merlot, is one of the best domestic Merlot's I have had in awhile.

Instead of a Merlot made like a Napa cabernet, its a great expression of a balanced Merlot.
A balanced Bordeaux, at 14.2% alcohol.

The nose is a great, with notes of Bell pepper (bravo, for letting Merlot be merlot & not over ripen) mocha, black tea, & spice.
Its silky in the mouth, as Merlot should be; a sexy, sultry, comfort wine, that embraces you, makes you feel warm.
Soft red & black fruits, tea, plums. Great texture and lingering finish.

A Merlot that will make you drink Merlot again.
    Well done, Tim.
