  Very rich deep purple color. Spicy and dark fruit on the nose, hint of cinnamon I think. Luscious mouth feel. Fruit forward with nice velvety tannins. Drinking perfectly now and we hope when the pizza arrives.

  Rich aromas lead to a fat palate stuffed with fruit, chocolate, and texture. I held off on this bottle and now I wish that I could have seen what was coming.

  Excellent from start to finish. Very dark, with lots of of juicy blueberry and blackberry complimented by ample bacon fat, earth, and a wonderful licorice quality that had me gulping this down. Now comes the hard part: finding more.

  Excellent, showed well at open and through dinner! Could easily go a few more years, but is likely peaking now through the next 6 months.
  Color: Dark purple center, dark red/ruby edges
  Nose: Chocolate, blackberry, bacon fat, subtle sweet oak
  Palate: Exploding with layers of chocolate and black fruits like cherry and blackberry. Some bacon fat and a touch of sweet oak and ripe structured tannins finish it off.
  Finish: Outstanding 60+ second finish! More of the above flavors that draw you back for another sip
