This wine is singing 10 years into its journey. Medium plus garnet color. Beautiful nose with balanced sweet fruit and no hint of the 14.5% abv. Medium mouth viscosity with dark berry flavors and soft acid that makes for a long , supple finish. It could get better with more time in the bottle but it’s so good now...

Some noticeable alcohol at first that causes imbalance, but it eventually goes away to reveal a nice Pinot with rich mouth feel. Medium minus acidity, at least relative to the Willamette versions we've had lately. A bit simple and still primarily fruit driven, but imminently drinkable.

Drank this magnum after a bit of time in the cellar. Started and finished excellent. Great show of the Sonoma appellation!

Merry Edwards does not make a bad bottle of pinot noir. Despite being their low endpoint wine, this is still delicious.
