  My last bottle of this wine has proved to be like previous bottles--very nice, full of fruit, just enough tannins for structure, medium body, ruby red, holding up well after 20 years in the cellar. If I find any more in my cellar I will drink it promptly before it diminishes because of ageing.

  This was a highly regarded wine upon release and I kept a few of bottles in the cellar to see how they would age. Now down to 2 bottles that are 20 years old. When I opened the bottle I thought it was long gone, but I left it out to breathe. Several hours later and wow. Beautiful deep redcolor, great fruit flavor, good nose, well structured, smooth. A pleasure to drink.

  CHERRIES, LICORICE, TAR, AND GREEN PEPPER IN THE NOSE. LOTS OF DEEP FRUIT IN THE LONG FINISH. NICE COMPLEXITY. MEDIUM TO LONG FINISH.
