Pop and pour, drank half the bottle the first night and half preserved under argon for the next day. Meaty, plummy red fruit, leather, smoky tobacco. This seems to have an old world soul but doesn't taste like other bordeaux blends that I'm familiar with. Second day, the fruit became more high-toned.

Coravin pour - drank on pouring. Slightly acidic. Tart red fruit, jammy. Long finish, yet dry. With additional air time this added some interesting secondary aromatics - black pepper, cloves, flower. Not sure this is my style of washington bordeaux blend.

Monthly Tasting Group: California and Washington Cabs/Syrah (Estelle, St. Paul, MN): Very dark red color. PNP, drank a glass over an hour. M43, CS38, CF17, Mal2. Really similar to my note from 2 years ago. Love the funk, spice, and tobacco notes on this. Still holding up really well.

Purple fruit on nose. Spice, dried dark fruits. Dusty tannins, long finish.
A very chill wine. Hit a better spot tonight.
