Nose of red and black fruit but a bit muted. Black fruit on the palate (but not a ton for a Booker). No apparent secondary notes and the alcohol sticks out a bit and has a slightly bitter finish. Definitely not my favorite Booker I have ever had. There are no other recent notes on this wine for comparison to see if this was just a bad bottle but it was stored well and had no apparent flaws. Just not a winner for me.

More open than 18 months ago. Went extremely well with spicy sichuan food. Also sipping well by itself.

Bright spicy fruit with nose of raspberry liquor, strawberry and spices.

PnP. Massive wine with dark fruit. Destroyed Turkish food which is saying a lot.

PnP. Still fruit forward but starting to develop secondary notes. Dark berry, earth, herbs. Full bodied, good finish. Probably at its peak.
