  Better balanced compared with the last bottle! Delicious fruit coming through in this bottle on the nose and palate but with dominant oaky notes!

  Opened, but not decanted for 45 minutes before pouring. Part of a Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon night with my wine group. This was my least favorite of the 4 wines we had. Looking at my prior tasting notes, I see I didn't enjoy my previous bottle of this vintage. I'm surprised given how much I enjoyed QC's flagship Cab of this vintage.
