  • Bright ruby color with slightly bricking rim. Nose: sweet plum and black cherry fruit with cedar, anise, and a hint of dark chocolate. Some alcohol coming off. Medium body on the palate: again the juicy, ripe plum and black cherry fruit accented by red and black licorice, toasted cedar, black tea, and a touch of mocha. Perfectly focused acidity. Moderate/lighter tannins. Lingering plum skin and powdered graphite on the moderate finish. Classically styled, well balanced North Fork Merlot. Drink now.
