Tasted as part of a Grenache tasting: Strong (Blueberry) aromas are almost chemical in their pungency, very one-dimensional full throttle bouquet. Silky texture in the mouth, but once again overpowered by the almost chemical taste of blueberry/cherry. I was hoping to be blown away by this 'show-stopper' but was inevitably left feeling a little disappointed. This certainly stood out from the crowd, some of the tasters hated it due to the 'cloying' aromas.

D'Arenberg - McLaren Vale.: Beautiful aromas. Dark red waxy fruit aromas. Pretty floral aroma. Med tannin. Pronounced tannin for Grenache. Again, clay-y tannin.

Very light and smooth. Perhaps getting a bit thin and needs to be consumed now.
