Coravin fun - Bordeaux (My place, Burwood): From Coravin. Creamy, rich, generous, plentiful good quality oak over plums, sweet spice, blackcurrant, a polished and plush experience that is not quite reinforced by the nose which offers a little more sharp wild blackcurrant, woody tannins slap the fruit around a little, tiny green note here as well as a touch of non intrusive alcohol warmth on the finish. It's a bit disjointed and not as good as I remember this. Time to tidy and quickly at that.

Coravin fun - Bordeaux 2000 and 2002 (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Brambles, plums, biscuit, a little herbaceous note, smidge of red currant, leather, slight wet earth, Autumn forest floor, slight aniseed. Juicy, savoury, the red currant, lends freshness to the black hued fruit, very slight herbaceous notes here as well, tannins are grainy but in support. Long, very good.

From Coravin. Medium minus intensity aromas are slightly metallic, brambles, sweet spice, a little plum, polished oak as well as a little coffee. That coffee note translates to the palate, a little brambles, a tiny touch of coconut, flour textured tannins are a little drying. Hmm.

Delte meninger rundt bordet - jeg digget den blå-aktige frukten, de softe, flott integrerte tanninene og en utrolig lekker trøffel-touch i munnen.
