This unoaked wine has that unpleasant vegetable taste of some Chards that others like but I find almost undrinkable. Last vintage I loved; this one I don't.

Yellow apples on the nose, along with some yeasty, custardy richness. Medium bodied with medium acidity. Yellow and green apples on the palate, apple skin and lemon custard. A spiciness toward the finish that makes me think oak but it saw none, so it must be lees influence. Nice.

Tasting Room: Light aromatic, non-oaked, green apple. Tempted to get a few for pork in summer.

A light, clean, steel-aged chardonnay. I don't like chardonnay, and I didn't mind this. Would go well with a very light dish on a hot day.
