Wow, this is my kind of Pinot Noir, just delicious !! Perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle, easily removed. Dark burgundy in color with little to no oxidation. Balanced and integrated flavors and softened acids. Aromas of red raspberry and forest floor. Flavors of blackberries and sweet dried cranberries with a medium to long finish. Great fruit from Lolita Ranch in the Russian River Valley planted to 667 and 777 clones in well drained, thin soils that are non-vigorous. An age worthy wine with years of life remaining, fortunately, I still have one more bottle of this vintage remaining in my cellar and will consume soon to validate this tasting note. Excellent winemaking to create this balanced wine at its peak.

At home, last bottle from a batch bought at the winery. PnP, drank half bottle.
Bright ruby color, some separation Bright red fruits, spices, red licorice, rose petals. Seemed a bit hot when first opened but blew off after a bit. Firm minerality and secondary notes, good energy throughout. Medium weight/finish.
This bottle has held up well, thought it may have been past its time but still drinking very well. Better then I recall it drinking when it was young. well stored bottles should have several more years in them...no reason to wait...nice wine from Martinelli

Not sure why, but I do really love this wine, respectfully disagree with other reviews that alcohol level overpowers, I think it's balancing nicely with a bit of bottle age

Good Pinot, but nothing special. Flavor good on the intake but a little off near the end. Balance good. Drink anytime.

Alcohol seemed to overpower the fruit. Probably should have decanted for some time; however, we opened and poured for Thanksgiving dinner.
