I thought this was the best bottle of Heintz I have had except for the 2012. Just a hint of maturity on this bottle but a great floral nose with a hint of citrus and minerals (like crushed/wet rock). Just a touch of oak on the palate but well balanced with a note of butterscotch, peach, and a hint of citrus. Not normally a huge fan of whites but this hit all the high notes.
Great lengthy and still powerful finish. I would say drink soon (either before years end or in 2017 for certain as it is mature as is) but this is highly recommended for those with some still in the cellar. I was impressed and disappointed this was the last of this vintage for me. I have been working on my older whites in my cellar for months trying to get them consumed.

Not nearly as good as when tasted at the winery. Oily, big legs, but very developed yellow-gold. Malolactic, buttered popcorn nose. Tropical fruit is decent on the palate but there is a discordant, steely note that detracts from the overall palate impression. Not sure what to make of this. 4-11-14-6: 85/100. May be ever so slightly corked.

Just a hint of oak on the aroma and palate, but more creamy and lasting legs.
Cheers!
