Dark red, opaque complexion Fragrant notes of black cherries, olive, spice box, cracked black peppercorn, dark chocolate, and a slight whiff of baby powder. Medium bodied, medium acidity, firm tannins. That classic core of Syrah like density of fruit and olive persist on the palate. Silky, everlasting finish that lasts up to a minute.
Overall; A very good representation of Crozes-Hermitage. Very good wine.

No notes taken but I don't recall this one standing out and may be past its prime.
