This is my third of six bottles of the 1997, and they all showed well. Like the others, this bottle had a rich Burgundian-tyle nose. The color was perhaps a little deeper golden than I remember the last two bottles. It had a nice dollop of oakiness but really elegant.Smooth flavors of an array of ripe tropical fruits and citrus. Still with good acidity. No worries about the last three bottles holding up, though I should drink them in the next year or so. Then on to the 2000s!
