Showed much better than previous bottle. Hints of cherry cola and green cherry stems on a faint background of hickory smoke, but the flavors all being very subtle and elegant. Medium concentration and depth with high-toned but balanced acidity.

Nice garnet color. Nose a touch light with mixture of muddled cherries with smokey oak and dirt road. Medium to light on the body; palate begins with light concentration of cherry pit and hints of golden raspberries, changing to a mildly smokey, earthy and white pepper mid-palate. Finish has light tannins but acidity spikes a fair amount above a lightly rustic, earthy finish.
Not bad, but thin for the vintage and the acidity spikes a fair amount on the finish. Slightly better on day 2; not sure if this is bottle variation or just caught at an awkward phase but hoping this balances out in the next year or two. Hard to drink by itself now but would do ok pairing with lamb, duck, or rustic dishes.

Nice enough but certainly nothing special.

Bright fruit flavors, medium bodied with little tannin. Drinking nicely.

nice drinkable burgundy - very approachable now - peppery with light fruit and no earthy aftertaste
