NobleRottersSydney - Current Release Reds (Alio's, Surry Hills): [14% cork, A$15] {Glenn} Sweet coconut and jammy blueberry fruit aromas. No surprises on the palate; big syrupy flavours of blueberry and blackberry. Soft dusty tannins; medium-full body, and a pretty short dry finish, most of which stays on the front of the tongue. A barbeque wine, no more.

Impenetrable dark purple to black in colour, the nose is flooded with plum, blackberry and wonderful vanillin oak inputs.
The wine is full bodied with vibrant tannins and acid the perfect match to the voluptuous plum and blueberry fruit that layers the palate. In typical Mclaren Vale fashion there is a rich vein of dark chocolate on the savoury oak influenced finish.
Gemtree Uncut represents a wonderfully consistent and tremendously good value wine. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink from 2015-2024)
