Deep, dark red. Bouquet of forest floor and savory mushrooms. Thin on the palate, with some acidity and sweetness still in there. A bit of tannin. The balance overall must have kept this going, as it's drinkable for being 25 years old, but it's pretty thin at this point. Light strawberry and cherry, mixed with almond and black tea.

Super oxidized; brown rim with brick red hue. Nose is reminiscent of cherry brandy, soy sauce, black tea and dried mushrooms. Palate is lithe and expressive at first but rather simple after a few minutes in the glass; low acid, fully developed with flavors that follow the nose: kirsch, soy, tea, pine, earth with a hint of bitter orange. Drink up!

Amazingly still had some fruit left. Surprisingly good, some oxidation, color between red and brown. Fun to drink an Oregon Pinot this old.
