I was expecting a (relatively) more rounded palate on this given the vintage but it sits there in quite a grumpy mood right now; tight, unyielding and angular. Not much more to add at this moment - apart from it obviouly needs a bucket more time in the cellar.

Colour showing a little sign of age pinkish amber. Nose: wet stones of other reviews, tea, celery...something herbaceous but still fresh and bright. Palate: soft fruits, spicy, slightly drying tannins and sweetish finish. Food (roast partridge) really brought out the fruit in this wine, raspberry/strawberry, delicious.
Seriously nice and this bottle is well into its drinking window.

Last bottle, the wine still has a long way to go, lots of raspberries, spice, wet stones, strawberries and some cedar, palate is light, juicy, fresh with nice length

Low derail nose of wet stone minerals, darker side of ripe raspberries, quite smooth on the attack but serious bitter tannin grip on the mid palate onwards, needs serious time

Matured wine, but after these years I had expected a bit more..
