Decanted fot about 1 hour, with slow roast pork. Delicious! Only a little bottle age showing. Earthy farmyard nose. Still a big wallop of fruit strawberries and red fruit, pencil shaving and cedar. Long. Tannins beautifully softened. Drinking perfectly. And its the last one! Shame but gof to catch it at the peak!

Aging but excellent: not showing much bottle age but farmyard nose. Tannins soft and integrated, long fruit with touch of leather and cedar in the finish. Drinking beautifully.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one considering I was probably 3 years past peak drinking. It did lose some of the fruit but still enjoyable due great balance and tannins that were soft and silky. Great spice, pepper and blackberries complimented bbq steak and prawns.

Color: medium ruby. Aroma: nice fruit with hints of smoke, spices, and chocolate, with some earthiness and cloves sneaking through. Taste: same as aroma plus soft feel on the palate; acidity there but not pronouned; slight sweetness in evolution; fairly well balanced with moderatly long finish and soft tannins. General: Very good Languedoc that would hold up well either on its own or at the table.
