An elegant Stag's Leap District merlot with rich, juicy red fruit, spice, sweet oak and milk chocolate. Round, smooth tannins and a silky mouthfeel. Lush finish. One of the better merlots from the SLD.

Dark garnet color leads to a nose of bing cherry and tobacco box. The bright cherry dominates the palate but is supported by an ample structure of dark fruits, currant, and asian spice. This recieves very high marks for California merlot!
