Was afraid we had waited too long to pop this one. Brought to a dinner with our neighbors. No notes. At first, was very closed. Shy nose and very little fruit, but after an hour, this wine opened-up and was drinking beautifully. This wine really came together in the bottle. Black cherry with some cinnamon and vanilla spice. Tannins and acidity nicely integrated. Very smooth mouth-feel that was a bit watery. Maybe a shade past its prime, but still very good!

We let this sit too long. It's lost the fruit and vibrancy, and is left with a sort of jammy sweetness. Only bare remnants remain of the wonderful tobacco, soil, and green herb flavors I love in cab franc, though I suspect this was always a bit over oaked and over extracted, given what flavors dominate now.

Nice wine but nothing spectacular. starting to show age but not over the hill. Some brooding, meaty spice that I expect in a PS, but not a lot.
