  • Realy nice on the pop n pour but fell off quickly. Bottle was super stained and lots of sediment. Perfect cork also. A tad past its prime for me.

  • There is still life left in this vintage label at twenty years of age, showing little to no diminution of fruits or flavor. This was ruby colored with bright, vibrant expressive fruit flavors, rich and concentrated black berry and black cherry fruits with tones of spice and cedar with hints of cassis, vanilla and dark mocha.

  • I said in a review from a couple of years ago that my bottles of this one from after 2010 had not been as good as earlier bottles.....until til a bottle I had a few months ago, which was more in line with the earlier bottles. This, the last bottle, was similar to the last one, but is showing some sign of tiring. I would drink up.

  • This bottle was nothing like the last few i consumed and other recent cellartracker.com review ratings. This case was originally purchased in 2000. Original WA rating was 92, but the WS rating was 94. The bottles I consumed up until 2010 were more consistent with the WS rating. Then all of the bottle I opened dropped to the 90-91 range. One bottle was a throw away.....and the cork was not bad. This bottle was a throw back to the pre-2010 experience. Perhaps it was in a prolonged "dumb" phase. Also, this one auctions for $66 per bottle.....with an original $45-46 cost. So, other see this one in a good phase. I have one bottle left and will drink it over the next few months.

  • My last tasting note said the tannins were gone but should last a while. I am not sure I agree with that comment now. I would drink up soon.....I have a bottle or two left and will do so.
