Still hanging in there. Terrific nose - just screams Syrah. Tannins have faded, but they're still present. Wouldn't drink this now with highly robust foods, but it's still just fine with lighter foods (or by itself). Nevertheless, it's probably time to drink up.

Nose just screams syrah - berries, grilled beef, and a little pepper. BIG black and blue fruits on the palate. Medium body at best, but the lingering fruit produced a good (not great) finish. After 90 minutes or so of air, it became a little more coarse and fatiguing. Contrary to CellarTracker's drink-by date, I think it will benefit from another year or two in the bottle.

PnP with some old friends so the notes are hazy. Lots of black and blue fruits up front with some peppered beef notes. Moderate plus acidity keeping the fruit fresh and lively. Happy to have 3 more bottles.

My last one of these. Drank about 1/3rd of it last night and it showed very well, with loads of pepper and Rosella's terroir. What's here a day later? Like the past bottles of this, it takes a day (or air) to let this wine unfold. Almost feels like this wine has not aged at all since it's quite like the bottle I wrote up from 2014. Tar, charcoal, black cherry, dark plum, pepper, cooked meat. Lots of intersecting flavors here. Finishes with some grip and citrus acidity. Just seems like this bottle will go another 5-8 years more and hold together nicely.

Still shows hints of what it was, but DOA. My fault. Should have drank this a few years ago.
